IM Motors opened presale of the LS8 NEO pure-electric on the evening of October 29, a full-line-control large five-seat flagship SUV, with two variants (93/103 kWh Max+) at a pre-sale rights price of 249,800-269,800 yuan and formal launch on November 5. The whole range standardizes CATL batteries and the all-line-control Lingxi digital chassis, with a rear 300 kW NEO hurricane motor, 93.1/103 kWh packs giving 684/752 km CLTC range, 800V platform replenishing 529 km in 15 minutes, and 520-line LiDAR with Nvidia Thor (700 TOPS). IM positions the LS8 NEO on hardcore configuration against the "rushed car" trend in the 250,000-yuan pure-electric SUV class.
