BYD Q3 Revenue Hits 221.5 Billion Yuan, Up 13.6%; Sept NEV Export Over 180,700, Up 154%; Szeged Hungary Plant Starts Mass Output
On October 29, BYD, China's largest NEV maker by output and sales, released its 2026 Q3 report: third-quarter revenue of 221.488 billion yuan, up 13.59% year on year, with net profit attributable to shareholders of 10.020 billion yuan, up 28.08%. The company said its global penetration is rapid on NEV technology leadership, with strong Q3 overseas sales now a core growth engine; in September alone BYD exported over 180,700 NEVs, up about 153.6%. BYD is shifting from "China export" to "global manufacturing": by end-October it had built overseas NEV plants in Thailand, Brazil, Hungary, Uzbekistan and Indonesia, with its Szeged Hungary factory entering mass production in October as its first European NEV passenger-vehicle base, phase-one capacity 150,000 units.
