Yiwu's 6th-Generation Market in Its First Year: 'World Yiwu' Trade LLM, ~40,000 Merchants Use AI Tools, Orders Up 20%+
A year into Yiwu's 6th-generation market, the "World Yiwu" trade large model and 30 digital apps including AI design and AI video creation have drawn over 1 billion cumulative visits; nearly 40,000 merchants now routinely use AI tools, with deeply engaged merchants seeing order growth above 20%. Xingbao Umbrella turned Chinese marketing videos into 36 languages, with clips passing one million views and waking old overseas clients. At the October Yiwu Small Commodity City AI Ecology Conference, the first "World Yiwu" AI innovation contest closed with 13 tech firms and 20 merchants awarded across bags, socks, umbrellas and electronics. Merchants say doing business now means both online and offline, with social-media inquiries already paying off as new industries cluster and buyers shop robots and AR glasses in one trip.
