A November 5 report details how Yiwu's trade with Africa is shifting from one-way exports to two-way flows. Beyond surging exports, Yiwu's imports from Africa are steadily rising as nuts, cocoa, spices, rosewood and handicrafts enter China through the city's mature distribution, livestream and cross-border channels. African entrepreneurs are rooting in Yiwu to build procurement teams, while Yiwu operators are setting up local teams and hiring in African markets, turning small-commodity trade into a story of mutual people-to-people and cultural exchange.
