Ahead of the November 5-10 CIIE, Yiwu organized 4,435 buyers to attend, underscoring its "buy global, sell global" strategy. Eight Yiwu companies exhibited using overseas resources - the Yiwu Commodity City Group set up a 330-square-meter booth via its Dubai subsidiary showcasing imported goods, while others introduced Turkish softeners, Caribbean rum and Japanese hair-care products to China. The city thus presented a multi-layered presence spanning national-pavilion image, intangible-cultural-heritage displays and enterprise booths bringing the world's goods to Chinese consumers.
