BYD recently launched the third-generation Qin PLUS DM-i in three variants with pure-electric ranges of 140 km and 220 km and a limited-time price of 76,900 to 97,900 yuan. The new model sets a segment-low combined fuel consumption of 2.58 liters per 100 km and extends electric range to a class-leading 220 km, with full-tank full-charge comprehensive range beyond 2,290 km. It offers optional God's Eye B lidar-assisted driving and God's Eye 5.0, and carries the upgraded DiLink 150 cockpit with a redesigned UI. BYD said the upgrade lifts the family-sedan bar on space, range, fuel economy, intelligence and safety, intensifying competition in the mainstream plug-in hybrid segment.
