Dongfeng eπ M8 Tianyuan LiDAR Edition Launches From 159,800 Yuan With CATL Cells and Dual AI Models

Dongfeng's eπ M8 Tianyuan LiDAR Edition officially launched on November 4 in two trims, with a guide price of 179,800 and 185,800 yuan and a limited-time subsidized price from 159,800 yuan. The six-seat pure-electric SUV, over 5 meters long with a 3,025 mm wheelbase, carries CATL-cell "Golden Shield" batteries delivering 600 km CLTC range on an 800V platform with 4C fast charging from 30% to 80% in about 15.5 minutes. Its Tianyuan smart-driving system runs on a Horizon J6M domain controller with 25 perception components including a Hesai LiDAR rated to 200 m, covering highway and urban NOA plus AEB and intersection assist, while intelligent parking supports valet, remote and cross-level memory parking. The Tianyuan cockpit uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip and integrates both Doubao and DeepSeek large models for continuous voice dialogue; it adds a 50-inch AR-HUD, dual 15.6-inch 2.5K screens, an 8.8-liter smart warm-cold box, and a 21-speaker 7.1.4 audio system. Dongfeng said the model also features tire-burst stability and intelligent anti-slip systems.
