Avatr T09 Headlines 411th MIIT Filing Batch as BMW's New-Generation iX3 and i3 Go Local in China
The 411th MIIT new-model filing batch drew attention with 1,019 products from 459 enterprises, and three standouts are the Avatr T09, the BMW new-generation iX3 30L and the BMW new-generation i3 40L. The Avatr T09 is the brand's first flagship large SUV co-designed with Huawei's Qiankun system, a six-seat tech-luxury rival to the Li Auto L9 and AITO M9; it measures 5,285 x 2,025 x 1,810 mm with a 3,150 mm wheelbase, offers 1.5T and 2.0T plug-in hybrids with over 500 kW and a thousand-horsepower flagship, a CATL Qianyao 71.24 kWh battery with over 400 km electric range and over 1,200 km combined, Huawei Qiankun XMC digital chassis with rear-wheel steering, and Huawei Qiankun ADS 5.0 with four LiDARs. The BMW iX3 30L is the first China-made SUV on BMW's new-generation pure-electric platform, with a 235 kW motor and CATL LFP cells, blind orders from 269,900 yuan and deliveries starting in November. The i3 40L uses an 800V architecture and sixth-generation eDrive, with over 1,000 km range on a high-density ternary pack.
