Data cited on November 5 showed China's passenger-car exports hit 7.167 million units in the first nine months, up 70.6% year on year, with new-energy vehicle exports surging 127.9% to take a 48.8% share of total exports. Commercial-vehicle wholesale rose 6.2% and 13 sample makers' deducting-net-profit jumped 63.84%, reflecting both export strength and recovering commercial-vehicle earnings. Overseas NEV penetration climbed to 29.1%, and institutions expect fourth-quarter exports to accelerate further on local production and order front-loading ahead of export-rebate changes.
