Cross-Border Trade Balances Two Ways as Yiwu's Chinagoods Platform and FTZ Expand
Cross-border trade is balancing in both directions as platforms and supply-chain firms build import-export integrated networks, Securities Daily reported on October 20. The Chinagoods digital-trade platform run by Zhejiang China Small Commodity City Group, built on Yiwu's 80,000 physical shops, serves 2.1 million small and medium enterprises worldwide with B2B export services, and has set up a three-warehouse layout of domestic consolidation, overseas front and comprehensive bonded warehouses to form a 'two warehouses, one line' cross-border fulfillment system. The company's Yiwu comprehensive bonded zone recorded 45.304 billion yuan in import-export value in the first half, up 59.3%, attracting 15 billion-yuan-plus import brand supply-chain hubs. Cross-border e-commerce pilot zones are rolling out batch declaration, cross-customs returns and digital traceability to cut merchant costs, turning 'sell abroad' into a two-way 'buy and sell globally' service.
