Galbot and Unitree Jointly Develop World's First Native-Agent Robot 'GalbotET1'
At the 2026 World Physical AI Conference and Unitree partner ecosystem conference, Galaxy General Robotics (Galbot) and Unitree announced the joint development of GalbotET1, described as the world's first native-agent robot, following its first appearance at the World Robot Conference in August 2026. The announcement reflects deep collaboration between the two companies on product definition, hardware refinement and embodied-intelligence capability development. A native-agent robot is designed from the ground up around agent capabilities rather than retrofitting them, aiming to make the machine autonomously plan and execute tasks in physical environments, a direction many Chinese robotics firms are racing to commercialize.
