DeepSeek Open-Sources DeepInfer: 'AI Directs AI' Reshapes the Industry Stack
Zhonghua Net reported on November 1 that DeepSeek's open-sourcing of its DeepInfer inference framework and a Super-agent dual architecture (Router dispatch plus concurrent Workers, MIT-licensed prototype) marks a shift where "AI begins to direct AI." Like building a highway whose value comes from all traffic using it, one free open-source move let DeepSeek set an industry technical standard. Crucially, DeepInfer natively supports Huawei's Ascend chips, giving finance, government and SOE sectors ready-made options and advancing domestic models on domestic chips where software ecosystems were the weakest link. With the stack from weights to operator libraries, compilers and inference frameworks progressively opened, a positive loop forms as global engineers adapt it to hundreds of scenarios, compressing middleware and ultimately lowering prices for end users and enterprises.
