2026 Yiwu New Energy and Storage Export Expo to Open Nov 13-15 as City Pivots to 'Big Product' Green Exports

The 2026 Yiwu New Energy and Storage Export Expo will open November 13-15 at the Yiwu International Expo Center under the theme "Green Energy Gathers in Yiwu, Storage Connects the Globe," aiming to build a high-end global platform for new-energy exports. Yiwu is accelerating from "world capital of small commodities" toward an export highland for new-energy "big products": over the past decade leading solar firms including Aiko, Risen and JA Solar have clustered there into an industry worth over 20 billion yuan a year, and six of the world's top ten photovoltaic-module shippers have landed in the city. Exports of the "new three items" - photovoltaic products, lithium batteries and NEVs - keep climbing, making new energy the main engine of the city's export-structure upgrade. The expo will feature four zones covering power generation, storage, smart power and applications, and leverage Yiwu's newly built national first new-energy product trading market plus the market-procurement (1039) trade model and the Yixinou China-Europe rail corridor. A China-Zhejiang-Africa new-energy cooperation forum will run alongside on November 13.
