IM Motors officially launched the LS8 NEO full-line-control large five-seat flagship SUV on November 5 at a preferential price starting at 239,800 yuan, 10,000 yuan below its pre-sale tag. Co-developed by SAIC Motor and CATL, the model comes standard with a new NEO three-electric architecture, a full line-control chassis and physical-AI intelligence. It uses CATL-customized batteries in 93 kWh and 103 kWh versions, rides on an 800V platform that adds up to 529 km of range in 15 minutes, and pairs the IM AD ZETA driving system with an Alibaba Qwen-powered "Lobster" agent for fuzzy-intent reasoning.
