Yiwu Fair's 'Exhibition-Market-Park' Linkage Draws South American Buyers With Concrete Orders
During the 32nd China Yiwu International Small Commodities Fair, a 'super procurement mission' of more than 100 South American buyers went straight from the exhibition halls to the Yiwu International Trade City, the Global Digital Trade Center and key industrial parks. At the new-energy products market a Peruvian buyer headed directly to solar-storage shops, while Colombian buyer Sandro Martinez finalized cooperation intentions worth about 80,000 U.S. dollars after an afternoon of efficient matching on smart equipment and outdoor gear. Organizers said the South American procurement group, drawn from Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Colombia and Bolivia, focuses on Yiwu's strength export categories such as small commodities, household goods and hardware tools, with intended purchase value reaching 5 million yuan since the fair opened. Free shuttle buses linked venues, markets and parks to turn 'viewing samples' into 'placing orders' and 'visiting factories.'
