Hefei Robot Cluster Takes Shape as Dingli Kexing Delivers 200 Humanoid Units, Targets 3,000 a Year
In Hefei's Baohe district, embodied-intelligence firm Dingli Kexing has delivered 200 full-size humanoid robots and is accelerating toward an annual target of 3,000 units, People.cn reported on November 3. Founded in February and achieving its first full-size robot off the line in under 40 days, the company combines Zhongding's four decades of auto-parts manufacturing, LimX Dynamics' locomotion control and Flexible Ketian's electronic skin. Each robot carries more than 2,500 screws and over 1,000 mechanism and electronic parts, with four-tier testing - component, module, whole-unit and scenario - screening out defective units. Semi-automated lines now produce up to six units a day. The Hefei (Baohe) Robot Industrial Park, opened September 22 with 990 million yuan of investment and about 190,000 square meters of floor space, anchors Anhui's push to make robotics and embodied intelligence a pillar emerging industry.
