Zhejiang Lands Six Projects in First National Landmark Application Scenarios, Including Yiwu Digital-Trade Hub
On October 21 People's Daily reported that the National Development and Reform Commission unveiled the first batch of 136 national-level landmark major application-scenario projects, with six Zhejiang-led scenarios selected. Among them is a foreign-trade transformation and upgrading scenario built on the Yiwu Global Digital Trade Center, recognizing Yiwu's model of using digital trade infrastructure to upgrade traditional export business. The inclusion signals central-government backing for Yiwu's push to turn its massive offline market into a data-driven, globally connected trade platform, reinforcing its role as a pilot for high-quality opening-up and cross-border commerce innovation.
