Chery Unveils 11 Technology Clusters at Global Innovation Conference: CheryMind LLM, Ziwei Chips, Megawatt Charging
At its 2026 Global Innovation Conference in Wuhu, Chery released 11 technology clusters under 'one technology base, four freedoms,' including the CheryMind vertical large model that connects more than 400 enterprise systems across 200-plus business scenarios used daily by over 60,000 employees; the Ziwei chip family with the S1500 SiC reaching 99.6% efficiency and a C100 aimed at 100-billion-parameter physical-world models planned for 2027; Xunlong megawatt charging at 1,500A/1.44MW giving 500 km of range in 5 minutes; and a solid-state battery pack with 400Wh/kg cells. Chery also gave the world premiere of its consumer humanoid robot 'Mobao.' Chairman Yin Tongyue called Chery 'a high-tech innovation company wearing a carmaker's vest,' with Robotaxi planned to operate 100,000 units globally by 2030; the company said it has invested over 110 billion yuan in R&D over five years.
