Action Intelligence Launches Chorus Cross-Embodiment Data Engine, Expanding Robot Training Data 40x
Action Intelligence (Xingyuan) released Chorus, a cross-embodiment data engine for robot pre-training that converts human-operation videos captured by various devices into pre-training data adapted to different robot bodies, lifting effective robot training-data volume more than 40 times. Analysts note that to reach its "ChatGPT moment," the embodied base model needs at least tens of millions of hours of real data, while globally available high-quality real data is only hundreds of thousands to a million hours, a magnitude gap. Firms able to do 3D spatial reconstruction, motion-trajectory extraction, physical simulation and data closed-loop stand to turn raw data into high-value training infrastructure as physical AI demand surges.
