2026 Guangzhou Auto Show Set for Nov 27-Dec 6 With NEV as the Star: BYD Tang, Xiangjie V8, Fangchengbao Tai 9, Yangwang Flagship
The 24th Guangzhou International Auto Exhibition is scheduled for November 27 to December 6 at the Canton Fair complex, with a total exhibition area of 240,000 square meters, an expected 3,500 exhibitors and more than 800,000 visitors. NEV models will again exceed half of the show, making the year-end event a weather vane for intelligent driving, solid-state batteries, 800V fast charging and smart cockpits. Highlights include the all-new BYD Tang pure-electric five-seat SUV with dual-chamber air suspension; the Huawei-backed Xiangjie V8 flagship with 896-line lidar and a 830 km CLTC range; the Fangchengbao Tai 9 full-size six-seat plug-in SUV offering over 1,600 km combined range; the Yangwang super-luxury executive flagship sedan debuting first in the UAE; and a locally produced long-wheelbase BMW X5 EV with Momenta assisted driving. Industry watchers said the show confirms NEV has cemented its leading role and that premium Chinese EVs are narrowing the gap with legacy luxury brands.
