Avnet China President: China Is Accelerating AI Productization and Industrialization
At the 2026 Avnet Smart Tech Ecosystem Forum in Shenzhen, Avnet China president Dong Hua said AI competition is returning to its essence - whoever truly lands intelligence at scale across industries will seize the initiative in the next industrial transformation. She argued the test is no longer single-technology breakthroughs but the ability to build system-level coordination linking compute foundations, physical-AI commercialization and application innovation. Avnet's South China sales director Tong Xinghua said China, with its complete manufacturing system, shows a dual-track pattern of infrastructure build-out and scenario landing, accelerating AI technology productization and industrialization. Avnet's latest survey shows China's AI application penetration notably exceeds the global average.
