Zhejiang Launches AI Special-Training Action Aiming for 2 Million Trainees by 2028
Seven Zhejiang departments including human resources, industry and education have launched an "Skills Light the Future" AI special-training action, targeting more than 2 million AI-training person-times, 6,000 digital-technology engineers and over 100,000 AI-skilled workers by the end of 2028. The action uses seven projects to precisely serve different groups, part of a broader push to turn provincial workforces into AI-capable talent as AI penetrates manufacturing, services and government. Separately, Hangzhou hosted the first round of a national AI+OPC innovation contest where 531 "one-person company" projects competed for commercialization acceleration.
