Dongfeng Unveils 'Embodied Intelligence' Full-Domain Safety Plan and Open-Sources 1.25 Million AD Datasets

At the 2026 World Intelligent Connected Vehicles Congress, Dongfeng Motor showcased its intelligent and new-energy progress, launching an "Embodied Intelligence Full-Domain Guardian Plan" and joining China Automotive Technology and Research Center, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers and the National Innovation Center for Intelligent Connected Vehicles to release a white paper defining a safety framework for the embodied-intelligence era. On core technology, Dongfeng said its next-generation fast-charging mixed solid-liquid battery will see scaled application in 2027 and that it is developing and road-testing 400 Wh/kg all-solid-state batteries, while building a 400 kW hydrogen fuel-cell stack line. Dongfeng also open-sourced 1.25 million sets of high-quality end-to-end autonomous-driving data and said it has deployed over 500 high-value AI application scenarios and more than 1,500 AI agents across manufacturing, highlighting a shift from vehicle intelligence toward AI-native production.
