Frost & Sullivan: Alibaba Cloud Leads China Full-Stack AI Cloud With 42% Share, Market Up 123.8%
Frost & Sullivan's China Full-Stack AI Cloud Service Market Report (H1 2026), released October 28, shows Alibaba Cloud held a 42% share of China's full-stack AI cloud service market in the first half, ranking first and exceeding the sum of the second to fourth places and more than double the runner-up. The market reached 58.13 billion yuan, up 123.8% year on year, with Volcano Engine, Baidu AI Cloud, Tencent Cloud and SenseTime ranking second through fifth. The report says inference demand has replaced training as the main driver of compute growth, and the industry is shifting from a "resource race" to an "efficiency and ecosystem race," where full-stack capability of leading vendors becomes the key competitive edge.
