BYD Denies Rumors That 'God's Eye C' Smart-Driving System Was Halted
BYD's anti-rumor office said on November 4 that online claims that "God's Eye C has been discontinued" and that "God's Eye B/C will switch smart-driving solutions" are false. BYD said it has always adhered to full-stack in-house development and that its smart-driving software continues to iterate and update. The company said it has preserved evidence on the fabrication and dissemination of false information intended to mislead the public and will pursue the legal liability of the relevant parties. The clarification is aimed at stabilizing market confidence in its full-stack technology roadmap and avoiding disturbance to brand reputation and product-planning expectations from unverified sentiment.
