At the Internet Entrepreneurs Forum of the 2026 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit on November 4, NIO founder, chairman and CEO William Li said the value of AI should be to make people's work easier and safer, rather than depriving human existence of meaning. NIO will keep pushing AI technology from R&D toward scaled application so that capability turns into safety value users can feel. Li asserted that a future leading automaker must also be a leading AI company, underscoring how electrification and intelligence are reshaping the global auto landscape and opening room for Chinese brands built on technology and service upgrades.
